A Note About Site Tinkerings...
This site is under constant development, currently my focus is on HTML5 and CSS3. While I do my best to ensure everything functions as it should across different browsers, things may randomly look a little odd, especially if you're using older versions of Internet Explorer. For best results, try using a modern, standards-compliant browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
I’m Iolo(spelt iolo, pronounced ‘yoll-oh’), I’ve a Masters in media design from Cork Institute of Technology and I’m living the freelance life for the time being.
I love playing around with technology and have an uncanny ability to make things work.
I design things, I make things, I fix things and occassionally, I break things(usually on purpose).
I can be reached via the email address to the right or via the contact page.
For my Bachelor Project, I worked in conjunction with fellow Multimedia student Aonghus Ó Céilleachair to develop a concept for a reactive in-car environment to increase driver self-awareness and in turn road safety. The project was a collaborative one done with Honda Europe and the project blog can be seen here.
For my MA thesis I investigated the role of social media and microblogging in content distribution online.
